'I'll start with WOW , we are very pleased with our packrafts, we have now carried them for over 25 hours, and have paddled the Buller river, Matukituki, Aoerer, and Wongapeka. The Wongapeka river in high flow was an easy grade 3. The packrafts have very good longitudinal stability which makes them very good to paddle on flat water,  and way better than expected in the white water'

'My partner and I thought we would travel over to Victoria to give white water kayaking a try after paddling flat waters of South Australia. We had a few days on the Goulburn River with Geoff from PacKraft, and the Element Paddlesports team. We did a day of safety and rescues, understanding water hydrology etc then on the water paddling. We tried the sit on top kayaks and then progressed to sit in kayaks. We found the sit in kayaks pretty daunting and difficult to manage. Geoff then suggested we try the rafts.

We immediately felt at ease on moving water in the rafts. We used the self bailer raft initially and it turned our experience from nervous in kayaks to pure fun in the rafts. We liked it so much we bought 2 rafts from PacKraft, the large spray deck version. It had a zipper so we could store gear internally and the spray deck to keep the majority of water out.

We have just come back from a 3 day white water trip on the Mitchell River. We tackled all rapids, including the grade 3 amphitheater rapid. We didn't come out of the boat once, they are a very stable boat. The water level was quite low so we were often scraping on rocks or bumping head on to rocks but it didn't even mark the underside at all.  We are very impressed with these boats and can't wait for our next adventure.'
